Do the same principles apply to Israel?

I write this a week or so after the anger, demonstrations and protests over the anti-Islamic film. I don't even remember the name of the film, nor have I watched it or have  intentions to do so). And, sadly after the American Ambassador to Libya and three others were killed.

I know it is a very slippery slope but I don't think that there should be no limitations of freedom of speech...and I am not alone......

There are, for instance, a few countries including Western Countries, such as France, Spain and Germany etc where there are such limitations.....Laws_against_Holocaust_denial.

I should at this point state categorically, that I do believe the Holocaust did happen. However,  I find that America and some of their allies like to change/bend the rules/views and their positions once Israel is involved.

For instance, this article... Bennett on Middle East Violence,  and the French Magazine that has chosen now to play devil's advocate with their anti-Mohammed cartoons.

I, of course could be wrong, and this French Magazine has exercised their freedom of speech by making cartoons that deny the existence of the holocaust...somehow, I am doubting they have done so. But if their intent is truly be agent provocateur, I would encourage them to do so..

I would also like to point out that Christianity too has had its share/history of violent oppression and murder against the non-believers, blasphemers and the heathens etc.

I am not condoning murder, but I do believe peaceful demonstrations against the insulting, vile depictions of Mohammed are in order.
