The day after...
Yesterday Barack broke my heart. I am now 3/3 in politicians who i believed in who then broke my heart.
It started on Monday morning watching Morning Joe on Msnbc as they showed example upon examples of lies BHO had said about the dire consequences of sequestration. Even Mika was very embarrassed.
Yesterday was the final act. I didn't expect him to praise Hugo Chavez. I didn't even expect a grudgingly delivered partial praise. What i did expect however was human compassion.
I expected condolences to his family loved ones and the people of Venezuela who democratically elected Mr. Chavez four times. What we got was the usual american crap: Now the main problem has gone, maybe Venezuela can now kneel at our feet and beg forgiveness.
Same America, different colour.
Today I unsubscribed from Barackoabama.com that i had subscribed to in 2007/2008.
I no longer care if the Republicans make him a failed President.

Do the same principles apply to Israel?
I write this a week or so after the anger, demonstrations and protests over the anti-Islamic film. I don't even remember the name of the film, nor have I watched it or have intentions to do so). And, sadly after the American Ambassador to Libya and three others were killed.
I know it is a very slippery slope but I don't think that there should be no limitations of freedom of speech...and I am not alone......
There are, for instance, a few countries including Western Countries, such as France, Spain and Germany etc where there are such limitations.....Laws_against_Holocaust_denial.
I should at this point state categorically, that I do believe the Holocaust did happen. However, I find that America and some of their allies like to change/bend the rules/views and their positions once Israel is involved.
For instance, this article... Bennett on Middle East Violence, and the French Magazine that has chosen now to play devil's advocate with their anti-Mohammed cartoons.
I, of course could be wrong, and this French Magazine has exercised their freedom of speech by making cartoons that deny the existence of the holocaust...somehow, I am doubting they have done so. But if their intent is truly be agent provocateur, I would encourage them to do so..
I would also like to point out that Christianity too has had its share/history of violent oppression and murder against the non-believers, blasphemers and the heathens etc.
I am not condoning murder, but I do believe peaceful demonstrations against the insulting, vile depictions of Mohammed are in order.

the Bin Laden Mitt Romney Ads controvery
I think Jon Stewart in the first nine minutes of the below clip, more or less has the same view as I do.
I wished President Obama's campaign team didn't bring Mitt Romney in, but seriously the right wing-nuts have no right to genuinely criticize.

And the Oscar goes to......Ludovic Bource
Last night I watched the Oscars.... first time in quite awhile.... Of course for me the favourite category is always film composer :-). last night it was won by someone whom I had never heard about from a film that I had never heard about (and not sure if I ever will see based on the trailers and 'shorts') but ludovic gave what for me was my favourite acceptance speech
